About

Curt has been active in the I.T. community for over a decade and has been a Microsoft M.V.P. (Most Valued Professional) in the Applications Development – Asp/Asp.Net area 7 times. He is heavily involved in the www.Asp.net forums and is also a Moderator for the site. Curt runs the blog on the www.Darkfalz.com website and has been a contributor/reviewer for a number of books and articles over the years. In addition he’s written a number of open source applications and add-ons available on www.CodePlex.com.

Curt’s currently working as an applications developer in Wisconsin, USA specializing in migrating legacy applications to Microsoft .Net technologies.  Curt is self-taught in computers and programming but has always had a great interest in technology. Without the formal education for programming his background has relied heavily on the usage of newsgroups, forums and books. By learning in this method he has found that it lends itself to helping others and as such he’s a heavy contributor to a number of online resources.

Darkfalz.com was started in 2000 as a side effect of Curt's internet usage. He used the handle "Darkfalz" for a number of years (it's from a video game) and he found that the domain name was unclaimed so he snatched it up and that was that. If you hit the way-back machine you'll probably find some interesting views of the site from years past. It's been used for scripts, business pieces and any number of iterations of blogging.
