"Art is an element in life of great value: not only to me but the world as a whole would be bleak without it. Art provides new perspectives of everyday life and adds dimensions of fantasy to a world caught up in sightless schedules. Without art's presence a great deal of beauty is taken for granted or simply unseen. In my work imagination drives artistic expression. The pictures I create are formed by the interplay of color as seen by the eye's action. I add life to the shapes I see through the use of line and shadow. I strive to give birth to an unknown world and bring elements of an outside world within reach."
