katie i read your story about your stroke i too had a similar stroke anmd i lost the use of my left arm in fact the left side of my body was affected alot weakness and paralysis of my foot with footdrop you are a very courageous young lady i thought it was bad what i went thru at the age of 44 but to be only 15 to go thru it i cant imagine you stay strong and hopefull love gayle vidales

Katie I was very inspired to see your work on the internet. Some pieces remind me og Georgia O`keefe but with a unique soulful energy of its own. I began oil painting during the last phase of my rehab after a severe stroke in 1997 when I was 42. I used to enjoy piano but with only one hand functional I replaced music with art.
