Over the weekend I received the official email from Micosoft that I have been awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for another year. This is quite a huge honor to someone on my profession as it helps to distinguish yourself and really emphasises your abilities. For me this is either my 9th or 10th award (I have to dig up the documents to be sure but there was some weird systems in place in the program back then). My involvement in the ASP.Net community, my co-authoring of a book on the subject and my open-source projects have all been contributing factors in my award but the primary driver is my commitment to assisting the community in learning and embracing the technology and building better projects.
